Will Lewis has signed a one-year contract extension at the Western Bulldogs.
The key forward will remain in red, white and blue after playing 13 AFL games this season and kicking 15 goals, including two in the Elimination Final against the Crows.
Lewis joined the AFL squad via the 2026 pre-season supplementary selection period after winning a VFL flag with the Footscray Bulldogs last year.
Bulldogs Executive Manager Men’s Football Sam Power said the Club was pleased to retain Lewis after a significant contribution throughout the 2026 season.
"Will has made a considerable impact at AFL level in a short space of time after making the step up from VFL this year," Power said.
"His forward nous and competitiveness have been invaluable at different stages, particularly when our forward line was challenged by injury.
"Will is a great character and has been a really strong contributor around the locker room. We look forward to that continuing in 2027."
The Club has now submitted its initial list lodgment to the AFL, with the list to be finalised in coming weeks ahead of the 2027 season.
