Western Bulldogs forward Nell Morris-Dalton has been nominated for the 2022 NAB AFLW Rising Star award, following her efforts in the Bulldogs’ 10-goal win over West Coast.

The 20-year-old was named among one of the best-on-ground on Saturday night at Optus Stadium, registering 12 disposals, three marks, two clearances and two goals.

Having played 14 games since making her debut in round 6, 2020, Morris-Dalton arrived at the Kennel with pick six in the 2019 national draft.

Before becoming a Bulldog, she was a product of the Northern Knights, notably kicking seven goals across two matches in the 2019 finals’ campaign to earn a spot in Team of the Year.

She spent her junior footy days at Fitzroy.

Morris-Dalton becomes the Bulldogs’ second nomination this season, following Elisabeth Georgostathis in round seven.

All AFLW players born in 2001, 2002 or 2003 and who have not previously been nominated as a Rising Star qualify for consideration for the award.

Two players will be nominated per home and away round of the NAB AFLW season.
