The next batch of 2022 VFL fixture updates have today been confirmed by the AFL, with Footscray to host four home games over the first eight rounds.

As previously advised, the VFL Bulldogs will open the season against Sydney next Friday afternoon at VU Whitten Oval, before hosting the Northern Bullants off a six-day break in round two.

Home games against Southport in round five and Essendon in round six also await.

Trips to the Swinburne Centre against Richmond (round three), Arden Street Oval against North Melbourne (round four) and the AIA Centre against Collingwood (round eight) round out the recently-released fixture.

The Bulldogs will have a bye in round seven.

All VFL matches in 2022 will be live streamed and available on demand via the AFL website and AFL Live Official App.

Where matches are ticketed, entry is $10 for adults, $5 for concession holders and kids under 15 are free.
