In Round 19 this season, PEDIGREE® celebrated all things dogs through its ‘Dogs Rule’ match-day.

In an AFL first, PEDIGREE® and the Bulldogs hosted a Dog Parade at quarter time of the game at Marvel Stadium, showcasing the incredible work PEDIGREE® does with national animal welfare charity PetRescue, but also highlighting dogs from Therapy Dogs Australia and Vision Australia Seeing Eye Dogs.

On the concourse, there were ‘Dogs Rule’ paw prints around the stadium, as well as giveaways at the main fan gates.

In the lead-up to their match-day, PEDIGREE® also created the Goals for Doggies campaign, which further supported PetRescue.

The Dog Squad was created – featuring Aaron Naughton, Adam Treloar, Josh Dunkley, Tim English and Marcus Bontempelli.

For rounds 16, 17, 18 and 19, for every goal that the PEDIGREE® Dog Squad kicked, 1000 meals were donated to PetRescue, to help feed dogs in rescue organisations across the country.  A final tally of 17,000 meals were donated to PetRescue members.

The campaign was promoted weekly through PEDIGREE® and the Bulldogs’ social media channels, and via the Bulldogs’ AFL match preview video, Match Committee.
