THE Western Bulldogs will play 17 games in Victoria in the 2027 Toyota AFL Premiership Season, including the return of AFL footy to Ballarat.
The Dogs will host nine games at Marvel Stadium, including match-ups against Geelong, Brisbane, Hawthorn and Sydney, as well as the now traditional Easter Sunday night fixture against St Kilda.
The redeveloped Mars Stadium in Ballarat will be the setting for clashes with Gold Coast (Round 7) and GWS (Round 20).
The last seven rounds of the season will all be played in Victoria, including two of three games involving the Dogs at the MCG, culminating in what could be a blockbuster match-up against the Hawks in Round 24.
Interstate travel includes two trips to Perth, two games in Adelaide (including Gather Round where the Dogs face Port Adelaide), one match in Canberra and one on the Gold Coast.
The Dogs will play the Suns, the Giants, the Saints, the Demons, the Crows and the Hawks twice.
As revealed earlier this week, the Dogs' season opens with a game against minor premiers Fremantle at Optus Stadium, the first of three Thursday night games ahead of a Round 15 bye.
The Dogs will also face Collingwood and Geelong in Friday night footy action at Marvel Stadium.
Bulldogs CEO Ameet Bains said he was pleased with the balance of the fixture in what is sure to be an eagerly anticipated season for the Club.
"This fixture provides our members and fans with a variety of matches to enjoy in what we hope will be a compelling season of Bulldogs footy in 2027,” Bains said.
"Our slate of home games at Marvel Stadium against high-calibre opposition is really exciting, and I'm sure our fans will be particularly thrilled to host the Cats on our home patch.
"We're also maintaining our recent tradition of hosting an Easter Sunday night game, which will provide the opportunity for many of our fans to see some of our newest recruits in red, white and blue for the first time.
"And we’re delighted to be returning to our home away from home in Ballarat and we fully expect those two games at the new and improved Mars Stadium will be in high demand.
"With so much to look forward to for our members, we'd encourage all of our fans to join us to ensure they have the best possible experience throughout what we hope will be an outstanding season."
