Tom Liberatore will miss the Bulldogs clash against West Coast this weekend after entering concussion protocols.

The midfielder was subbed during the second quarter in Launceston and will now sit out the next 12 days.

Jason Johannisen suffered calf tightness against the Tigers a fortnight ago and will be monitored this week.

“Jason had some calf tightness in the second half of the Rd 21 game against Richmond,” Head of Sports Medicine, Chris Bell said.

“These calf symptoms persisted into last week so he didn’t play on the weekend.

“We won’t take any risks with JJ and will monitor him this week to confirm when he returns to playing.”

In more positive news, defender Tim O’Brien and utility Riley Garcia will be considered for selection this weekend after overcoming significant hamstring injuries.

"Tim O’Brien and Riley Garcia are in the final stages of their rehab following their hamstring injuries,” Bell said.

“Both will have to tick some final boxes and train well Thursday before they will be considered available.”

Anthony Scott will return to availability this week, overcoming concussion sustained a fortnight ago.

Roarke Smith will also be a welcome addition to the squad, recovering from a plantar fascia injury to his foot, needing to complete a final session to be ticked off.
