Prime time footy then awaits, as the Bulldogs host Essendon on Friday 12 April, followed by a Thursday night match against St Kilda in round six.

The Bulldogs will travel interstate six times including Gather Round – playing at Adelaide Oval three times, and Optus Stadium, Giants Stadium and the SCG once.

Melbourne, North Melbourne, GWS, Sydney, Fremantle and Geelong are the teams that the Dogs will meet twice, while the midseason bye will come in round 15.

Bulldogs CEO Ameet Bains was excited by a fixture that has plenty to offer for Bulldogs members and fans.

“We’re really pleased with both the football and commercial outcomes of the 2024 fixture and welcome the connection with our Victorian members through the opening three rounds,” Bains said.

“The fixture is bookended by games in Ballarat in Rounds 2 and 24, following on from a successful pair of games in 2023, with a record of number of attendees cheering on the Club at Mars Stadium.

“Our fans generally turned out in strong numbers this season, eclipsing the 40,000 mark on three occasions at Marvel Stadium and we expect this fixture to provide the same level of excitement.

“Once again, we’ll feature prominently on free-to-air television with eight games scheduled across the known rounds, five of those falling on Thursday and Friday night football.

“Our interstate members will have the opportunity next year to witness the team live with three trips to Adelaide, dual games in Sydney as well as a Perth match.

“With another positive fixture unveiled, it is an exciting time to join the red, white and blue family and become a member, as we look to establish our 4th consecutive year of record membership and surpass 60,000 members.”
