Western Bulldogs star midfielder Tom Liberatore is once again throwing his support behind Movember.

Liberatore has been a long-time supporter of the Movember movement, which encourages people to raise money for men’s mental health by growing a moustache, hosting an event or participating in physical activity.

The 31-year-old said he was proud to play his part and be involved again.

“Men’s mental health can be seen as something private, but a lot of people are going through similar things, so it’s important to understand it’s about everyone, not individuals,” he told the Herald Sun.

“I’m supporting the Movember campaign to help raise awareness to the fact that it’s an inclusive, collective struggle.”

In line with Movember, Sunday 19 November also marks International Men’s Day.

This year’s theme is 'Healthy Men, Healthy World', which aims to highlight some of the social issues that men and boys face in Australia while improving men and boys’ health.
