Our Thursday night match against the Sydney Swans will kick off the second week of Sir Doug Nicholls Round where we celebrate and recognise the contribution of First Nations people to the game of football.
At the game, expect to enjoy and experience a live Welcome to Country, indigenous music and a not-to-be missed pre-game performance from the cast of 37 presented by to Melbourne Theatre Company.
The Western Bulldogs will also play in our 2024 Indigenous Guernsey, designed by proud, young Djab Wurrong, Kirrae Wurrong and Peak Wurrong artist, Tarni Jarvis.

A special performance presented by Melbourne Theatre Company
The Western Bulldogs and Melbourne Theatre Company are proud to present an excerpt from37, a play by Trawlwoolway Pakana playwright Nathan Maynard, as part of the pre-game entertainment.
Members and fans are asked to be in their seats by 7pm to witness this special performance celebrating Marngrook—the traditional Aboriginal game that inspired AFL—which will take place in the centre of Marvel Stadium, Wurundjeri.

Train
Walk from Southern Cross Station via the pedestrian bridge to Marvel Stadium. It's around a four-minute walk. If you’re coming from outside Melbourne, V/Line services will take you to Southern Cross Station.
Trams
Trams run to Marvel Stadium from LaTrobe Street and Harbour Esplanade. They also stop in the CBD on Spencer Street, Bourke Street and Collins Street and all are a short walk to the venue. Visit Public Transport Victoria for more information.

Bus
The bus terminus is at Southern Cross Train Station and services airport transfers as well as routes across country Victoria. Marvel Stadium is a short walk across the Bourke Street pedestrian footbridge from the bus terminus.
Walking
An elevated, 20-metre-wide pedestrian footbridge connects Marvel Stadium to Southern Cross station and intersection of Spencer and Bourke streets.
Game-Day Tips & Activities
Arrive early
Gates open at 1:45pm, ahead of the game starting at 3:15pm. Arrive early and please allow yourself enough time to enter the venue so you don’t miss a moment of the action.
Members get access – scan in
General Admission members can scan in using their physical or digital membership card (via the app) and sit on Level 3. General Admission members looking to reserve a seat should also upgrade prior to the match.
We strongly recommend members with Flexi memberships to pre-book their seat for this high-selling game.

Sensory Room

There are two Sensory Rooms available on site:

Sensory Bags are available from the Sensory Rooms and Guest Services Gate 5 (Level 1, Aisle 3).
Baby Change Room/Parent Rooms
Parent Room facilities include baby change table, child-friendly play panel, a microwave and television as well as both private and public feeding areas. Parent Rooms are located at: Level 1, Aisles 3 & 28
Baby changing facilities are also available in all accessible toilets and are regularly cleaned and sanitised - see 'Toilets' for accessible toilet locations.
Prams
Prams and strollers are permitted into the venue provided that they are stowed under your seat.
Patrons with prams or strollers on Level 3 may park their empty pram or stroller behind the disabled seating at Aisles 6, 19, 30 & 43, if space permits.
If you would like to cloak your pram, please see staff at the Customer Service Desk (Level 1, Aisle 43) or Guest Services (Level 1, Aisle 3).
Public Transport & Road Disruptions
Please find below transport disruptions that may impact your travel to Mission Whitten Oval on Sunday.
Rail Disruptions
Belgrave and Lilydale lines - buses replace trains between Box Hill and Belgrave or Lilydale stations from 11pm Friday 19 September until the last train Sunday 21 September.
Werribee and Williamstown lines - buses replace trains between North Melbourne, Werribee and Williamstown stations at times on Saturday 20 September and Sunday 21 September.
Sunbury Line - buses replace trains between North Melbourne and Sunbury stations from 11pm Saturday 20 September until the last train Sunday 21 September.
All members in 2024 receive a physical barcoded card with their membership packs giving them access to home games.
Members are still able to use their digital membership card if they wish to do so. Information on accessing your digital membership card can be found here.
All other access members (Silver & Gold) can either scan in as general admission or upgrade to a reserved seat for $10 through Ticketmaster using their home barcode.
Please note: General admission members will see seats in their digital card – this is NOT your actual seat and refers only to general admission bays.
