Bulldogs fight, Bulldogs score
Sunday’s victory at Marvel Stadium marked the fifth time this season that the Bulldogs have won by a margin of at least 70 points; three of which have occurred in the last five matches.
The Dogs currently sit equal first in total points for after 15 rounds (1,477 points), tied with the Cats who have played one more match so far this season.
Red hot form
Ed Richards’ emergence as one of the league’s elite midfielders continues to grow each week.
After 15 rounds, the 25-year-old ranks first in the league for total goal assists (24), seven more than Geelong’s Tyson Stengle and Brisbane’s Hugh McCluggage who sit equal second.
Richards is also well on track to smash the Club’s seasonal goal assist record, currently held by Bulldogs’ legend Brad Johnson.

A long time between bounces
Sunday’s match didn’t just mark Rory Lobb’s 50th game in the red, white and blue, it also marked the first time the star defender bounced the ball in almost nine seasons.
Lobb’s singular bounce in the win against Richmond was just the second in his 190-game career to-date, with his first and only recorded back in round 16, 2016 during his tenure at the GWS GIANTS.
