Youth Fest 2025 brought together over 280 secondary students from seven schools across Wyndham, Melton and the Inner West for a powerful one-day event dedicated to inspiring young people to explore their futures with confidence and clarity.

Held as part of the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation’s youth engagement efforts, the event was designed to connect students with tangible opportunities in education, training and employment — while encouraging them to think boldly about what lies ahead.

From interactive workshops and guest speakers to career expos and networking opportunities, the day provided a platform for students to discover new interests, hear from role models, and build a better understanding of what’s possible after school. Sessions covered everything from personal branding and job-readiness to mental wellbeing and navigating different career pathways.

The event also brought together a wide range of community organisations, training providers, employers, and youth services — ensuring that students could engage with local support networks and access real-world advice in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

With curiosity sparked and confidence boosted, Youth Fest 2025 marked a vital investment in the next generation of leaders, learners and changemakers from Melbourne’s West.
