The Western Bulldogs have submitted a team of 26 for their pre-season practice match against West Coast tomorrow evening.
Vice-captain Ellie Blackburn will make her long-awaited return from injury and is set to attend the first centre bounce.
Recruit Lou Stephenson will start at full forward alongside Sarah Hartwig, while draftees Emma McDonald (half-forward), Sarah Poustie (interchange) and Keeley Hardingham (interchange) will also feature.
Brit Gutknecht will start at half-back while Issy Grant will lead the backline as the key defensive post.
Saturday’s practice match will begin at 8:15pm AEST at Mineral Resources Park, Perth.
The pre-season hit-out is free for WA-based Bulldogs members and fans to attend, but will also be live-streamed via the Club website from approximately 8pm AEST.
The Dogs will then have a week off before their Round 1 Pioneers Game against Melbourne on Saturday 16 August at Mission Whitten Oval.
