Western Bulldogs midfielder Adam Treloar is continuing to progress well following his most recent calf injury.
The 32-year-old has been sidelined since Round 15.
“Adam is building continuity with progressive football training and conditioning sessions,” Head of Sports Medicine Chris Bell said.
“If all goes according to plan, he is scheduled to complete a match-like training session this weekend.”
Bell also provided an update on Harvey Gallagher and Cody Weightman.
“Both Harvey and Cody are progressing well following their season-ending injuries,” he said.
“Harvey has started the rehab journey following the injury to his navicular and has recommenced putting some weight through his foot. Although this injury comes with a lengthy period on the sidelines, he is fully invested in his rehab plan and will be meticulous in working through our conservative management plan with enthusiasm and professionalism.
“Across the last month, Cody’s problematic knee has started to take some positive steps forward. The swelling has improved, and he is starting to regain some strength in and around his knee.
“Cody’s commitment and resilience have been outstanding and he has continued to be a positive influence and leader amongst the playing group.
“He is tentatively planned to progress towards a return-to-running program during the off-season period.”
The Bulldogs emerged from Thursday night’s win over GWS without any additional injury concerns.
