Bulldogs young guns Arthur Jones, Josh Dolan and Michael Sellwood have committed their short-term future to the red, white and blue.
Jones and Sellwood will remain at the Club until at least the end of 2026, signing one-year extensions, while Josh Dolan has extended for two more years until 2028.
Sellwood joined during the Mid-Season Draft period and has shown plenty in a Footscray Bulldogs side that finished top of the VFL ladder.
Drafted from Peel Thunder, the 21 year old showed class for Footscray VFL, including 29 disposals and 11 marks against Carlton in Round 21.
One of the many young Dogs to make his debut in 2025, Josh Dolan displayed promising signs in his 11 games at the AFL level.
Making his debut in Round 1 alongside fellow 2025 draftee, Sam Davidson, Dolan's toughness and comittment to the contest were on display in his first year in the red, white and blue.
The small forward is likely to play an integral role in Footscray’s VFL finals campaign.
Despite an injury interrupted season which saw him sidelined for eight weeks with a hamstring injury, Arty Jones was still able to make the most of his opportunities at the senior level.
Originally selected with Pick 41 in the 2021 National Draft, the fan favourite made a strong return to football via Footscray VFL including a 20 disposal, one-goal game against Carlton VFL in Round 21.
The crafty forward would also have impact in the Dogs' final game of the year against the Dockers, kicking two goals late in the game with his trademark evasiveness and class on full display.
Bulldogs Executive Manager Men’s Football Sam Power said he was pleased to lock away players with such exciting potential at the Kennel.
“Arthur, Josh and Michael are young players making their way early in their AFL careers, and have shown some exciting attributes,” Power said.
“Michael came to us mid-year and has put together consistent performances for Footscray, while Arthur continues to display his speed and agility at VFL and AFL level.”
