The Western Bulldogs are pleased to announce the appointment of Jack Billings as a Development Coach for the 2026 season.
Billings brings a wealth of experience to the Kennel, arriving at the Club after an AFL career spanning 12 seasons across St Kilda and Melbourne, selected at Pick 3 in the 2014 National Draft.
The 29-year-old will take on a dual role, playing VFL for Footscray while helping to develop the Club’s young midfield brigade as a coach.
Billings played a total of 172 games, kicking 112 goals.
“We’re really pleased to bring someone of Jack’s calibre into our football club,” General Manager of Coaching and Performance, Matt Egan said.
“As a Club, we identified the need for a person with AFL-experience and the ability to play VFL in a development role and Jack will be a fantastic addition to our VFL program.
“Jack already has some wonderful relationships with people inside our football program from his time in the AFL, with his experience and leadership in the game the perfect platform to influence our emerging talent.”
Billings will commence his role on Friday.
The Club has now finalised its coaching structure ahead of the 2026 campaign.
