The Western Bulldogs are thrilled to announce that Footscray's own Hop Nation Brewing Co. will be its Official Beer Partner for at least the next two seasons.

An independent craft brewery, Hop Nation has become a respected staple of the Melbourne beer scene over the past decade, maintaining a commitment to innovative, full-flavoured styles and crowd-pleasing brands like Footscray Draft.

Hop Nation products will be available at Mission Whitten Oval during home matchdays, and its branding will feature across Club digital channels and content.

A collaboration beer is also in development that will be made available in selected pubs and bottle shops across Melbourne's west.

Bulldogs Chief Commercial and Strategy Officer Kon Karavias said having a locally iconic brand was a perfect fit for the Club.

"Hop Nation's commitment to Footscray, authentic approach and independent spirit resonate strongly with us as a Club," Karavias said.

"As a wonderful example of a local success story, we're thrilled to help showcase their brand and work together on ways to help bring good times to our community.”

Hop Nation General Manager and Founder Sam Hambour said: “Hop Nation was built on the Westside, and we’re proud to partner with a club that represents it so fiercely. We’re excited for what’s ahead.”

The Hop Nation brand has rapidly grown since the release of its first ‘The Fiend’ IPA in 2015 and now consists of a solid core range of brews and an extensive list of limited-edition beers, as well as Dog Nation – a bone broth-based brew for pups.
