The highly anticipated Grand Final rematch will take place this Saturday afternoon as Footscray take on the Southport Sharks in Round 6 of the VFL.
Footscray will be looking to bounce back after suffering their first loss of the 2026 season at the hands of the Swans in Round 5.
The Dogs will be bolstered by six-key inclusions, made up of five AFL-listed players and key midfielder Billy Crofts.
The addition of premiership ruck Lachlan Smith after his AFL debut will be a welcome addition for the midfielders, while Oskar Baker joins the ‘Scray for the first time this season.
There will be plenty on the line for both, as they go head-to-head for the first time since the 2025 VFL Grand Final.
