The Western Bulldogs, in partnership with Bulldog Pride, are proud to announce the inaugural Beyond the Game: Sport, Community, and Belonging event, held in recognition of the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersex Discrimination and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT).
Designed to centre lived experience, leadership and meaningful community connection, Beyond the Game underscores the Western Bulldogs’ continued leadership in advancing inclusion across Australian sport.
The event will be hosted by Bulldog Pride Co‑Founder and Secretary Michelle Sheppard and will feature a panel of respected voices from across sport and advocacy, including:
- Mitch Brown, former West Coast Eagles player
- Tamara Hyett, Western Bulldogs AFLW Senior Coach
- Sean Towner, mental health and equality advocate
Additional special guests will be announced in the leadup to the event.
