The 24-year-old was one of seven players to receive the maximum ten votes during Round 6.

Hunter impressed with 32 disposals, eight marks and one goal in the side’s 19-point loss to the Dockers.

Teammates Caleb Daniel and Tim English were also recognised for their performances, receiving three votes and one vote, respectively.

Star midfielder Marcus Bontempelli currently sits in second place on the leaderboard behind Carlton’s Patrick Cripps (38 votes), with 35 votes overall.
