Aaron Naughton has been nominated for an AFL Fan Award, in the category of Best Individual Performance of 2019.

The AFL Fan Awards have five categories, which also includes Clutch Play of 2019, Fan Fave of 2019, Recruit of 2019 and Moment of 2019.

Naughton’s nomination for the Best Individual Performance award came for his five-goal, 14-mark effort against Richmond.

Details of how you can vote for the young Bulldog are below.

Best Individual Performance of 2019 Nominees

Patrick Cripps (v Brisbane)
His coach had been sacked that week, his team had lost 10 of its first 11 games and found itself 37 points down to the high-flying Brisbane when co-captain Patrick Cripps rallied his troops. Cripps had 38 disposals, eight clearances and four goals to inspire a dramatic win.

Aaron Naughton (v Richmond)
This was the game that had many standing up and taking notice of the 19-year-old forward. He claimed 14 marks, including nine contested marks, falling just one short of Wayne Carey's record for the most in the game. He also slotted five goals to go along with that.

Jeremy Cameron (v Richmond)
The stat line alone says enough for Cameron's performance against the Tigers. He finished with 30 disposals, nine marks and kicked 7.5 in one of the most individually dominant displays produced this season.

Ben Brown (v Port Adelaide)
It's a rarity to see a player kick 10 goals in a single game, but Brown managed it against Port Adelaide. Remarkably, he did so from just 10 kicks. Everything fell the big Kangaroo's way as he surged back into the Coleman Medal race late in the season.
