The Bulldogs will be without Tim English for Saturday night's game against Carlton after the ruckman entered concussion protocols.
English will be monitored before determining his return to play options.
“Tim received some head-high contact in the dying minutes of the game against Port Adelaide,” Bulldogs Head of Sports Medicine Chris Bell said.
“He was assessed on the bench and was immediately removed from the game for further assessment.
"Clinical tests confirmed that Tim suffered an episode of concussion. Tim has entered the Club's concussion management protocol, and he will work closely with our doctors to determine his return to play plan.”
In positive news, Luke Kennedy will consult a specialist on Tuesday to determine if his eye injury has healed and he can return to availability.
