Tom Liberatore and Laith Vandermeer will be tested this week before their availability for the weekend can be determined.

Liberatore was a late out of the AFL clash with the Gold Coast SUNS, alongside Riley Garcia who was also withdrawn.

“Tom developed some general soreness following our main training session last week, and we didn’t want to take any risks with Tom so withdrew him from the weekend’s clash with Gold Coast,” Bulldogs Head of Sports Medicine Chris Bell said.

“He completed a modified game-like session, and if he gets through main training this week like I expect, his magnet will return to the selection whiteboard for this weekend's game.

“Riley unfortunately sustained a hamstring injury in the lead-up to the Gold Coast game.

“This injury comes off the back of a challenging season for Riley, following a long period in rehab after he damaged a tendon related to his previous knee ACL reconstruction.

“We will work through a process with Riley in the next period of time to consider his rehabilitation plan and timeline.”

Bailey Dale remains 4-6 weeks away with a shoulder injury, while Adam Treloar will also be sidelined for 4-6 weeks with a calf injury.
