Ed Richards and Lachy Bramble have been recognised by the coaches for their impact in the Round 21 loss to Fremantle.
Richards polled five votes for a 26-disposal and nine-clearance effort, while Bramble received two votes for his 23 disposals, six marks and 535 metres gained.
Fremantle’s Karl Worner was judged best afield.
Despite not polling, captain Marcus Bontempelli remains second overall with 106 votes.
The votes for the award for the rest of the home and away season will not be released until the announcement of the winner during the AFL Awards night on August 25.
