On time in the middle
I love playing in the midfield. I think the strengths that I bring onto the footy field suit the midfield. We'll see what happens this week, hopefully I can play another important role for the team.
Last week I had some planned minutes in there. But quarter-by-quarter, things can change during a game. So I'll probably know at training what my tentative plan is. But then it could change in the second quarter, it could be the same the whole game. So yeah, hopefully they might give me a few more minutes, which would be good.
On challenge of playing at AO
Playing at the MCG last week was our home game, but it didn't feel like that. So (it) won't be any different this week in Adelaide. If you can take the crowd out of it and even embrace it when they are really loud and cheering for the opposition team … I think you get the most out of it when you just enjoy it and not be overawed by it. Interstate games can always be tricky, but yeah, we'll tackle it head on and should be a great game.
On JOD
James (O'Donnell) is the best spoiler in the league. He nullifies a lot of contests and he gets the ball to ground for us mids and forwards to go to work on. And (he's) complimented by Buku (Khamis) as well who can leap and fly across and do the same thing.
JOD's had an amazing year, hopefully he can just keep getting better. He was a pre-season pickup, so he's only been on the list for two and a half or three years. So he's only going to get better and better with more pre-seasons. Can't wait to watch his growth.
