Western Bulldogs forward Sarah Hartwig has extended her time at the Kennel to at least the end of the 2029 AFLW season.

The former Pick 11 has played 67 games since her debut in 2021, currently sitting equal-third for the most AFLW games played in the red, white and blue.

The 24-year-old has booted 33 goals across her AFLW journey, including an equal career-best three goals in the Bulldogs’ Round 1 win over Gold Coast and the match-sealer against Fremantle in Round 6.

AFLW List Manager Dan Fisher said it was pleasing to secure Hartwig's services.

"It’s great having Twiggy commit her future to the Club," Fisher said.

"She's forming a great partnership with Emma McDonald and is on track for career-highs in goals, contested marks and marks inside-50.

"Her high work rate, speed and aerial skills means she can be equally effective connecting our ball movement up the ground or being a forward-50 target.

"On top of that, she’s one of those people that effortlessly makes our environment a better place to be."

Hartwig joins Emma McDonald (2029) and Sarah Poustie (2028) in committing to multi-year deals at the Kennel this month.
