The Western Bulldogs have made three changes to the team set to face St Kilda this Saturday afternoon.

In a massive boost for the Dogs, ruck Alice Edmonds returns to the team after missing last week’s game against Port through injury.

Edmonds has re-asserted her dominance as one of the competition’s leading rucks recording an average 26.8 hit outs per game with 29.8% going to the advantage of the Bulldogs midfielders, league-leading figures.

Joining Edmonds will be midfielder Dom Carruthers - also returning from injury, as well as 2026 draftee Mizuki Brothwell.

The trio come in for Britney Gutknecht (injury), Keeley Hardingham (omitted) and Sarah Poustie (omitted).

It’s an important game for the Bulldogs who make their long-awaited return to Ballarat in their first game at the recently redeveloped MARS Stadium.

Fans will get their first look at the brand-new grandstand, providing more comfort and access for those attending games.

A win would see the Dogs claim a third victory in a row and register their most successful season under coach Tam Hyett.
