On Zak Butters...

The Zak situation is still evolving. There is a lot of options on the table for both us (Port). We’ll work through those in due course. It is pretty layered for us, with free agency the deals are locked – we are working through a number of players coming into the Club – finding the best way to structure that deal moving forward. Once we work that out, we’ll lodge.

Potentially if Port don’t except the compo another multi-club deal could come into it – that is really live. No deadline yet – that ball is in our court. I think everyone can understand Zak Butters is priority one and two. Our focus and excitement is around Zak choosing us and we’re now focused on bringing him into the Western Bulldogs.

On Rory Lobb...

We’ve had no approaches for Rory Lobb. He wants to stay, absolutely.

He has made that clear to the Club.

On Tim English...

100% I can rule a trade out for Tim English.

Ever since Tim’s name was raised – he has given us zero indication he wants to leave the football club and we certainly haven’t entertained anything. Andrew McDougall, his manager, recently spoke about it as well – everything has been put out there connected to Tim has been one way. We are emphatic on that, we love Tim and want to keep him in Bulldogs colours going forward.

On Finn Maginness & Nathan O'Driscoll...

Nathan is someone we’re aware is exploring their options. We will have a level of discussion about that and we’ll see how it works out. We have a fair bit moving throughout the period and Finn is in a similar boat. We have a degree of interest in Finn, he is a contracted player.

On the playing list...

I think every football club would sit here and say they’re priming the list to win a flag. It is great to bring Jordon into our club over the weekend, we’re really excited by that. We feel he brings a skillset in that allows our current defenders to flourish and gives them a chance to develop. More broadly, the list is exciting – the drafting has been great in previous seasons. Undersold story how young we were and able to compete as well as we could.

On Laithan Vandermeer...

We are aware that there is interest in Laith. We will address that as the period goes on. He is a valued member of the Bulldogs, and we’ll take that as it comes.
