Western Bulldogs defender Elisabeth Georgostathis has signed on to remain in the red, white and blue until at least the end of the 2028 NAB AFLW Season.
Georgostathis has played 69 games – the fourth-most in Club history - since becoming a Bulldog with Pick 9 in the 2019 AFLW Draft.
A hard-working rebound defender with the ability to also play in the midfield, the 24-year-old is averaging 15 disposals, 3.4 tackles and 208.3 metres gained from the current campaign.
She also enjoyed a career-best runner-up finish in the Club’s 2023 Best and Fairest.
“Lizzo is such a ferocious competitor and one of those heart and soul players that makes her teammates walk taller,” AFLW List Manager Dan Fisher said.
"As an established member of our defensive line, she’s also shown she can lock down some of the competition's more damaging midfielders.
"Despite only being 24 years old, she adds significant experience to our group and we’re excited to have her commit for another couple of years.”
Georgostathis joins Sarah Hartwig, Jess Fitzgerald and Emma McDonald in committing to the Kennel in recent weeks.
