One change has been made by the Western Bulldogs for Saturday night’s clash with Geelong at Marvel Stadium.

Midfielder-forward Toby McLean has been recalled after a best-on-ground performance in the VFL, where he claimed 30 disposals and kicked two goals in Footscray’s big win against Port Melbourne.

He replaces defender Caleb Daniel, who will miss the next three-to-four weeks with a hamstring injury

The Bulldogs will be looking for back-to-back wins for the first time since round eight, after they claimed a 25-point win on the road against Port Adelaide last Saturday night.

ENGLISH LOCKED IN UNTIL 2022

But a big challenge awaits in the in-form Cats, who sit on top of the ladder.

The Cats got the points when the two teams met earlier this year, in round nine at GMHBA Stadium.

Bailey Dale, Lachie Young, Ryan Gardner and the yet-to-debut Ben Cavarra have been named as the emergencies.

LAST TIME THEY MET

Round 9, 2019 – Geelong kicked the last six goals of the game to run away with a 44-point win at GMHBA Stadium, after the Bulldogs kicked the first goal of the final term to get within nine points. Mitch Wallis (29 disposals), Jack Macrae (29 disposals) and Bailey Smith (28 disposals) all found plenty of the ball – with Smith’s efforts earning him the NAB AFL Rising Star nomination. But four goals to Tom Hawkins and three apiece to Gary Rohan, Darcy Fort and Mitch Duncan got the Cats over the line.
