Premiership player Dale Morris hung up the boots at the end of 2019 after a decorated career in red, white and blue.

He immediately made the transition to coaching and will take on the development coach role in 2020.

Morris played 253 matches at AFL level and earned All Australian honours in 2008. He gained a spot on the Bulldogs’ rookie list after four years in the VFL with Werribee.

The inspirational defender built his reputation around a ‘never say die’ attitude on the field and the ability to overcome significant injuries during his career.

Morris famously played the 2016 grand final with a broken back and overcame multiple ACL injuries in recent years.
