Marcus Bontempelli has had a few eye catching moments since entering the AFL, and it continued this week with a one handed grab against the Suns earning him a Mark of the Year nomination for Round 17.
Bontempelli’s encouraging recent form has seen the 18-year-old average 20 possessions per game over the past five weeks as well as being awarded with a Goal of the Year nomination in round 15 against Melbourne, and a rising star nomination in Round 13 against Collingwood.
Bontempelli has played 10 games to date in his debut season, and is averaging 16 possessions and almost four tackles per game.
