The Footscray Bulldogs have been bolstered by the inclusions of AFL-listed players Taylor Duryea, Lachie Young and Ben Cavarra for Saturday’s VFL clash with the Northern Blues on Saturday afternoon.

Duryea has overcome a hip injury he sustained in April, Cavarra has recovered from a hamstring strain, and Young returns after his omission from the AFL team.

Footscray will be without Tory Dickson, who was elevated to the senior team to replace the injured Billy Gowers.

The Bulldogs are coming off last week’s bye, having lost a one-point thriller to Geelong in Round 9.

The ‘Scray sit in fifth on the VFL ladder, while the Blues are seventh, just half a game behind.

The Western Bulldogs VFLW team will play prior to the VFL match, against Carlton, from 10.30am.

This weekend, VFL and VFLW clubs will partner with FightMND in the 2019 Sockit2MND Round

Players from participating VFL and VFLW clubs will wear blue and white socks during the Sockit2MND Round to raise awareness of the disease.
