Josh Bruce’s equal career-high six goals against North Melbourne last weekend earned him the maximum 10 votes from coaches Luke Beveridge and Rhyce Shaw.

It was a clean sweep of voting for the Bulldogs in the AFL Coaches Association’s AFL Champion Player Award for Round 5, after the 49-point victory against the Kangaroos.

Caleb Daniel continued his outstanding season, scoring six votes to become the Club’s highest vote-getter after five games, moving to equal 16th in the competition in the process.

After notching three straight wins, the Bulldogs currently have the fourth most combined votes as a team (87), trailing Port Adelaide (119), Brisbane (111) and Collingwood (90).
