The Western Bulldogs today confirmed defender Mark Austin has been elevated to the Club’s primary list, replacing fellow defender Tom Williams who was placed on the long-term injury list last week.
Austin has shown solid form for Bulldogs’ affiliate Williamstown in recent weeks and is in the mix to don the red, white and blue for the first time this Sunday against the Demons.
The versatile defender played 15 games at Carlton before being picked up by the Bulldogs in the 2011 Rookie draft with selection 76.
