Western Bulldogs forward Billy Gowers has accepted a fine from the AFL Match Review Officer (MRO).
Gowers was charged by the MRO with misconduct, following an incident involving Richmond’s Dylan Grimes in the third quarter of the Bulldogs’ round seven win on Saturday night.
Gowers has accepted a $1000 sanction with an early plea.
The incident was assessed as misconduct and classified as a $1500 sanction as a first offence, which was reduced to a $1000 sanction with an early plea.
