The Western Bulldogs have announced a three-year partnership extension with official compression partner 2XU.

The partnership will see Western Bulldogs players continue to train and recover in the world’s most advanced sports compression over the next three AFL seasons.

Since 2005, 2XU has grown to become one of the most popular sporting apparel brands in the world; driven by a relentless obsession to advance human performance through the development of world-leading performance-enhancing compression garments.

Western Bulldogs Physical Performance Manager Mathew Inness said the Club’s players are looking forward to continuing the partnership.

“It’s incredibly important that our players train and recover in the best quality compression apparel available, which makes our partnership with 2XU a perfect fit,” Inness told westernbulldogs.com.au.

“Our players have worn 2XU apparel since our partnership began in 2016 and they’re incredibly grateful to continue to do so, for the next three years.”

2XU compression garments enable athletes to train smarter, recover faster and perform better through a unique fabric combination that is light, flexible, powerful and durable.

2XU Global Custom & ANZ Wholesale General Manager, Ben Smith said the popular compression brand is looking forward to continuing its partnership with the Club.

“2XU and the Western Bulldogs Football Club share a commitment to high performance, and we’re excited to be supporting the Club over the next three years,” Smith said.

“From training to match day, travel and recovery, 2XU compression is proven to multiply human performance and give athletes the edge over the competition. We look forward to sharing the many benefits of 2XU compression with players, members and fans.”
