The Western Bulldogs will host Melbourne in Round 4 of the 2021 NAB AFLW season at VU Whitten Oval on Sunday, February 21.

The AFL today announced the match-up, with the first bounce at 3.10pm.

This gives the AFLW Bulldogs a nine-day break, following their 15-point win over Geelong last Friday night.

Melbourne is yet to record a loss this season.

It will also be the 11th instalment of the Hampson-Hardeman Cup, named after women’s footy pioneers Barb Hampson and Lisa Hardeman, which was established by the Bulldogs and Dees for the inaugural exhibition match in 2013.

Since then, the Bulldogs trail three wins to the Dees’ seven.

The match will be broadcast free-to-air on Channel 7, and streamed via womens.afl and the AFLW Live Official App.

Score updates will also be available via @BulldogsW on FacebookTwitter and Instagram.

The AFL will await further advice from the Victorian Government before confirming any ticketing arrangements.

The 2021 fixture will continue to be released in weeks to come, to allow for flexibility amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and relevant border closures.
