The Western Bulldogs and People’s Choice have strengthened their partnership into a fifth year, with a contract renewal as Platinum Partner for the 2021 season.

People’s Choice is one of Australia’s largest credit unions, with more than 385,000 members, $9.5 billion in total assets and almost 1000 employees across the country.

“One of the great things we have at the Club is a number of long-standing and loyal national partnerships, and People’s Choice falls into this category,” said Bulldogs’ CEO Ameet Bains.

“We are thrilled that we are continuing our partnership into the future.  With 20,000 people expected to move into the west of Melbourne every year for the next decade, the Club’s relationship with People’s Choice is a perfect brand fit, with a key focus on engaging with our community.

“The strong national reach and scale that the People’s Choice branded assets provide also gives them the opportunity to engage with millions of households around Australia.”

Given Melbourne’s western region is a key growth area for People’s Choice, the relationship with the Western Bulldogs and its VFL team, Footscray, provides a unique opportunity to raise its profile in what is a highly competitive market.

“We’re very happy to sign on again as a Platinum Partner for the 2021 season,” said People’s Choice CEO, Steve Laidlaw.

“We first joined forces with the Bulldogs in 2017 and it has been a positive relationship since day one.  This is a great club which is very much aligned with our commitment to supporting local communities.

“We worked together constructively last year through all the challenges presented by COVID-19, and we’re looking forward to another positive year, for both parties, on and off the field.”
