Last time they met: Kangaroos (8.5 53) def  W.B. (3.4 21), Round 3, 2019 at University of Tasmania Stadium

A five-goal to none second-quarter is what hurt the Bulldogs most the last time they faced the Kangaroos. With both sides on an unbeaten streak heading into the game, it was North who emerged on top, handing the reigning premiers their first defeat of the 2019 season. The Bulldogs were arguably the better team in the second half - keeping the Kangaroos scoreless during the third term – but by then the damage had already been done. On-baller Kirsty Lamb (14 disposals, five marks, four tackles) and captain Ellie Blackburn (14, three tackles) were among the best on ground, while Hannah Scott (10 disposals, four tackles) stood tall in defence.
