The Footscray Bulldogs are back in action for their first official hit-out in three weeks.

They will take on the Casey Demons in a round 16 VFL clash at Casey Fields on Saturday afternoon.

The Bulldogs remain the VFL’s only unbeaten team – with nine straight wins. They sit in second spot on the ladder and will play the third-placed Demons, who have won seven of their eight games.

Twelve AFL players have been named in the side.

Speedy forward Laitham Vandermeer will make his return from a knee injury, after playing limited minutes in a scratch match last week.

The match will be closed to the public but broadcast live on Kayo.
