The past few months have been tough for all of us mentally. So in week 3 of the program we looked at our Mental Fitness. We were joined by former Western Bulldogs Premiership player, Tom Boyd as well as former AFL player and CEO of Outside The Locker Room, Jake Edwards who shared their experiences of mental health challenges.   

We also heard from the Provisional Psychologists from Victoria University who spoke to us about stress and how to check in with others. They told us about some of the signs of anxiety to look out for and what we can do in times when we feel stressed 

They reminded us of how important it is to check in with your mates, family and colleaguesIt’s always a good idea to ask those around you R U OK?” Now more than ever we need to keep checking in with those around us and letting them know it is ok not to be ok.
