At the Western Bulldogs, we support WGEA’s publication of gender pay gap data as part of national efforts to advance gender equality.
As a Club we are pleased to see that significant progress has been made in reducing our gender pay gap - from 29.9% to 16.7% in median total remuneration - while not shying away from the fact that there is still more to do.
Steps have been taken to better represent women in senior roles in our football department as well as creating pathways for women towards senior management roles across the organisation. We also maintain a minimum 50% female representation on both our Club and Foundation boards.
Our People & Culture team continues to review recruitment policies, procedures and panel representation to mitigate any potential bias and to ensure that our policies and working conditions are conducive to flexibility and inclusiveness.
This continues to be an active, all-of-club effort and in collaboration with our key stakeholders and partners we remain committed to progress and driving a more equitable future.
