Taylor Duryea has had a three-match ban for an incident in the VFL qualifying final reduced to one at the VFL Tribunal.
The result of the appeal means the veteran could play a role in the VFL Grand Final should the Bulldogs win their preliminary final against either Box Hill or Brisbane next week.
The original penalty was challenged by the Club and was reduced after the incident was deemed to be careless conduct resulting in medium contact.
Last month, Duryea announced that he would be retiring at the end of the season. A two-time premiership player with Hawthorn, Duryea played 101 AFL games for the Western Bulldogs.
