Isabelle Pritchard
The reigning Best and Fairest winner enjoyed an impactful 2025 campaign despite missing the last two games of the season. Pritchard averaged 21.6 disposals, 4.4 tackles and 5.7 clearances, while also enjoying a career-best 33 disposals and 11 clearances against the Pies in Round 7. She was named in the All-Australian squad and recorded the most votes (11) by a Bulldog at the most recent W Awards, so if that’s anything to go by can expect the 23-year-old to poll well on Wednesday.
Alice Edmonds
Edmonds was one of the team’s most consistent performers this season, enjoying career-best figures across a number of statistics. She averaged 10.4 disposals, two clearances and 27.6 hit-outs from 12 games, while also finishing top of the league for total hit-outs (331) and hit-outs to advantage (87). While she was overlooked for the All-Australian squad, could Wednesday be the night Edmonds takes top spot?
Rylie Wilcox
Wilcox had one of her best outputs to date this year, playing all but one game in the 2025 campaign. While she is one of the more underrated players across the competition, her impact and influence is not overlooked within the four walls of Mission Whitten Oval. She averaged 14.1 disposals, 3.3 tackles and 234.8 metres gained – including a career-high 408 metres gained against Brisbane in Round 6. Expect last year’s runner up to be up and around the top again on Wednesday night.
Ellie Blackburn
After an injury-riddled 2024 campaign, Blackburn was back on the park full-time in 2025. The 30-year-old alternated her time between the midfield and forward-line, averaging 17.9 disposals, 3.2 tackles and 2.6 clearances. She hit the scoreboard on eight occasions too – a career-high – and will be sure to steal some votes in this year’s count.
Jess Fitzgerald
Fitzgerald has always been one of the Dogs’ most reliable, and took her game to the next level in 2025. She enjoyed a career-best season, averaging 16.2 disposals, 5.1 tackles and 3.6 clearances to go with three goals. Fitzgerald finished third in last year’s count and could climb higher this Wednesday.
