The Western Bulldogs have finished their VFLW home and away season with a 15-point win over Darebin Falcons at La Trobe University in Bundoora.

A five-goal to none second half meant the Bulldogs walked away victorious and locked in third spot on the VFLW ladder.

AFLW-listed Bulldogs Ashleigh Guest, Angelica Gogos and Ellyse Gamble all returned to the side and played their role to contribute to the win, while recent AFLW signing Danielle Marshall impressed around the ground with a number of marks and a goal to her name.

The Bulldogs battled windy conditions in the opening term as Darebin took full advantage of the advantage kicking three goals to none.

Emerging from the opening break with the wind at their back, the Bulldogs through Mary Sandral snuck in a goal to kickstart the term, as Marshall followed with a goal of her own moments later. Katelyn Betts put the icing on the cake for the quarter with her first goal in the red, white and blue to give the Bulldogs a four point lead going into half time.

The defensive effort in the third term was impressive keeping Darebin goalless  - despite the home-side kicking with the wind. The Falcons could only muster four behinds for the term, levelling the scores at the final change.

The Bulldogs came out determined and firing in the final quarter, Sarah Jolly slotting home a composed goal in the eighth minute. 10 minutes later Ella Wood vollied home her first for the club to seal the deal and win the game 5.8 (38) to 3.5 (23).

Focus now shifts to finals which kick off next weekend, with the fixtures to be revealed in the coming days.
