Ruck Tom Campbell - who played 42 AFL games and won two VFL Premierships with the Bulldogs - has announced his retirement.

Campbell's decision brings to a close a 15-year career across four clubs: the Bulldogs, North Melbourne, Euro-Yroke and most recently Narrm.

The 34-year-old didn't play a senior game for Narrm after arriving ahead of last season and suffered a torn ligament in his neck after a collision at training in January, ruling him out for the year.

Campbell was recruited by the Western Bulldogs in the 2012 Rookie Draft with pick #27 and made his debut in Round 13 against the Lions after Will Minson was suspended.

He kicked 23 goals in his 42 games for the Bulldogs before being delisted at the end of the 2018 season.

He played a key role in one of the Club's most memorable goals of the 2010s, tapping the ball down for Daniel Giansiracusa to soccer it home against the Swans.

He also had key roles in Footscray's 2014 and 2016 VFL flags, kicking two goals in the 2016 Grand Final against Casey.
