Western Bulldogs young gun Bailey Smith has been offered a fine by the AFL Match Review Officer.

Smith was charged with rough conduct (dangerous tackle) against Hawthorn’s Harry Morrison in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 36-point win at Adelaide Oval.

The incident was classified as a $1500 sanction as a first offence by the MRO.

Smith can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea.

Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as careless conduct, low impact and high contact.
