The Footscray Bulldogs will be looking to continue their unbeaten start to 2021, when they host Carlton at VU Whitten Oval on Sunday.

Wins over the Gold Coast Suns, GWS Giants and Northern Bullants have the Bulldogs in second spot on the ladder.

Debutants Ewan Macpherson, Ned Nichols and Bailey Van de Heuvel will be unveiled this week by Footscray.

Macpherson, the son of former Bulldog Steve, trained with the AFL squad during the pre-season.

He will be one seven father-son Bulldogs in action across the VFL-AFL teams this weekend, alongside Mitch Wallis, Lachie Hunter, Zaine Cordy, Rhylee West, Tom Liberatore and Josh Kellett.

Ten AFL-listed Bulldogs will feature as part of the VFL team.

The match will be part of a Bulldogs VFL-AFL double-header on Channel 7, with the VFL match being broadcast from 12pm and the AFL match from 3pm.

Gates at VU Whitten Oval open at 11am. Spectators must pre-purchase tickets here to be able to attend – it is not possible to purchase tickets at the venue.
