Key defender Alex Keath headlines five inclusions for the Western Bulldogs this week.

Keath will return to face Hawthorn at UTAS Stadium in Launceston on Saturday afternoon, after missing the past two weeks with a hamstring injury.

He is joined in the side by fellow big man Lewis Young and forward trio Cody Weightman, Mitch Hannan and Laitham Vandermeer.

Vandermeer returns to the AFL line-up for the first time since round six.

The 22-year-old speedster has played scratch matches the past three weeks after overcoming a knee injury.

Weightman (managed) and Hannan (shoulder) both come back in after missing one game.

Star forward Josh Bruce (knee) and defender Josh Schache (knee) are out due to injury.

Emerging forward Jamarra Ugle-Hagan and Anthony Scott have been managed, while Ed Richards and unused medical sub, Roarke Smith, also make way from the team that played Essendon last week.

Smith, Scott, Richards and Buku Khamis have been named as the emergencies, with one to be confirmed as the medical sub an hour before the first bounce.

This will be the Bulldogs’ first AFL match in Launceston since 2015.

The match will be broadcast live on Fox Footy.
