    The VFLW Bulldogs will welcome Amanda Ling back to the line-up for their round seven battle against Geelong on Sunday morning.

    The VFLW Bulldogs will welcome Amanda Ling back to the line-up for their round seven battle against Geelong on Sunday morning.

    Ling has been named in the middle, alongside co-vice captain Eliza Morrison, for her first game since round three.

    She is the sole senior-listed Bulldog to feature.

    Captain Riley Christgoergl will start at half-back, while Mary Sandral will begin at full forward.

    Still searching for their maiden win of 2022, the Bulldogs will take on the Cats from 11am on Sunday at VU Whitten Oval.

    Admission is free, with the match to also be live streamed via vflw.tv.Score updates will be available  via @BulldogsW on Twitter.

    The Western Bulldogs have endured a 38-point loss to Geelong in round seven of the VFLW at the weekend.

    The Western Bulldogs have endured a 38-point loss to Geelong in round seven of the VFLW at the weekend.

    The Bulldogs were right in with a chance up until half-time, before a four-goal to none second-half blitz from the Cats resulted in a 1.1 (7) to 7.3 (45) defeat at VU Whitten Oval on Sunday morning.

    Madison Katerelos was the Dogs’ sole goal-kicker, while Eliza Morrison and Eliza Vale finished the day with 19 disposals each.

    Tahlia Meier was solid with 17 touches, while Mary Sandral finished with four marks and 10 disposals.

    AFLW-listed Bulldog Amanda Ling showed plenty in her return, collecting 14 possessions and nine tackles.

    The Dogs will next travel to ETU Stadium to take on Port Melbourne this Saturday afternoon.
